Calling myself a food photographer in Bali would certainly be an overstatement. However, there has been a time when I took on photo project I could get… Including assignments in Bali and Indonesia for food photography.

Some of the projects were part of hotel and/or restaurant photography projects in Bali. Others were made for F&B magazine articles.

I like photographing food.

Why ? Because unlike people it does not talk back and has its own ideas…

Food photography also involves a lot of editing and post production. I am certainly honed my skills in the department being a food photographer in Bali.

Also, one gets to taste a lot of yummy food on such assignments. This is usually not the food you see in the photographs. Because often weird things are done to food to make it look good in photography. Trust me: you don’t wanna know…

Most of my work as a food photographer in Bali you see here was done a long, long time ago. I hope that one day more food projects would come my way so that I can see what I can do with the experience I have gained in over 15 years of professional photography. And of course, to try out some of the specialty lenses that are now part of my arsenal.
